Upon arrival at the farm, follow signs to our entrance. Our staff will guide you to park in the designated field. There will be employees in the field to assist you and answer queries.

PICK-YOUR-OWN
SUNFLOWERS

About U-Pick Sunflowers:

  • Each adult admission fee includes a 22oz Thompson Farm souvenir cup that you can fill with flowers from our fields. Easy to hold the flowers and keep them hydrated, all while staying secure for the ride home!

  • Each child admission fee includes a Thompson Shaved Ice. We have several flavors for you to choose from

  • We have mowed paths that are cut out of the field for you to walk through the flowers and experience them from the inside.

  • There are also large grass areas to enjoy the summer sun, or take a leisurely walk around the fields.

  • We have other flower varieties as well including zinnias and wildflowers. Our wildflowers have 20+ flower varieties. You are welcome to mix & match these flowers with your sunflowers to fill up your souvenir cup!

  • Photo ops throughout the fields: There's a GIANT butterfly, bench, tractor and piano just to name a few!

  • Extended hours available so long as you enter our field while we are still open.

Add-Ons:

  • Should you decide that you would like to take more flowers home, you can purchase an additional souvenir cup for $10.00 to fill up with flowers.

  • If you do not have something to cut your flowers with, we have scissors available for purchase for $3.00.

Additional Information:

  • We do NOT supply cutting tools. You can bring your own or purchase a pair of scissors from us in the field. 

  • We recommend an arms length when you cut your flowers.

  • Angle cut your stems to allow for the most efficient water absorption

  • Change water and cut stems every couple days and display near sunlight to make your bouquets last!
