At Our Farm
Admission Fee: For Pick-Your-Own Only
To our valued customers:
We’ve received a lot of questions and responses to our admission fee and price increase for the 2021 season.
Because of urban sprawl, the cost of growing strawberries in this area has gone up significantly. We’ve never had an entrance fee before, and we have pushed off doing it for many years. Unfortunately, because of the circumstances we have had to reconsider. We didn’t own the land our farm was on, and it was sold to developers. Building an entirely new farm and planting all new strawberries in one year is very costly. We have also had issues in the past with many customers who come eat and leave without buying any strawberries. We are also not here to just sell our customers produce. We are here to give them an experience! An experience that allows our guests to come out and have a great time with friends and family, to pick their own locally grown strawberries berry by berry. This is an experience that we’re determined to give you!
When you pay admission fees, we can handle these changes and issues. We can also reinvest the money back into the farm and the business to continue expanding and offering new services to the community. It also helps with preparing land, caring for the crops, paying rent on the land because we do NOT own the land we farm on.
We are doing everything to provide the highest quality service we can, and hope our valued customers will continue to support us. The price increase is to keep the farm going for another four generations! We thank you ALL for your continued support, we would not be able to do this without you! Our customers are the reason we do what we do!!!!!
